When Whitney Allysyn debuted our capsule collection aptly named "From Work to Weekend, and Everything in Between," on the runway at Harlem Fashion Week in September 2023, the concept was to show a year in the life of the WA woman.
Our main goal was to show the world that tall women can move through this unpredictable world in classic styles with a city-chic flair, without the typical insecurities we have (high water pants, wrist-grazing sleeves, etc). Tall women need not settle for mainstream sizing, and I'm so excited to be among the growing list of designers that are willing to break the mold and solve a problem that tall women from Julia Child to Naomi Campbell have had.
